Terms of Use

Last updated 3 September 2026

These terms cover your use of a Method Rewards loyalty card. Method Rewards is software made by Method Optimization LLC. The rewards themselves are offered by the restaurant you signed up with, not by us.

The program belongs to the restaurant

The restaurant decides how many visits earn a reward, what the reward is, and whether to run the program at all. They can change or end it at any time, including changing the number of visits required. We provide the software that keeps track.

If something goes wrong with a reward — a visit that was not recorded, a reward you were not given — the restaurant resolves it. Their staff can correct a balance.

Your card

  • Rewards have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred or sold.
  • Your card is for you. Do not let others earn on it or use a copy of someone else's card.
  • The restaurant may remove a card from the program if it is being misused.

Accuracy

Your balance is calculated from a record of visits that can be added to but never edited, so a correction appears as its own entry rather than by rewriting history. We try hard to make it right, but we do not guarantee the software is uninterrupted or error-free.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Method Optimization LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of a rewards card, and our total liability is limited to the value of the rewards in question. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Privacy

What we collect and how we handle it is described in our privacy policy. In short: we contact you through the pass in your wallet, and we do not send marketing emails or texts.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States.
